Our client is a prominent engineering firm based in Kuala Lumpur, specializing in innovative structural design and project management. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated Structural Weight Control + CEB Specialist to join our team on a contractual basis.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and control the weight of structural components, equipment, and materials throughout project phases.
- Perform weight estimation, analysis, and verification using industry-standard methods and tools.
- Conduct Center of Gravity (COG), Eccentricity, and Buoyancy (CEB) calculations to ensure structural stability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers and project managers to optimize structural configurations while meeting weight targets.
- Prepare comprehensive weight control reports, documentation, and presentations for project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings to provide expertise on weight control and CEB considerations, offering solutions and recommendations as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in structural weight control and CEB analysis within the construction or engineering sector.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS) and weight estimation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
