We are looking for Senior Sales Managers for our client in Singapore!
Our Client is a leading technology events company, specializing in organizing and delivering world-class conferences, exhibitions, and networking events. Their mission is to connect industry professionals, innovators, and thought leaders, facilitating knowledge exchange and business growth within the technology sector.
Position Overview:
The Senior Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by leading the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the technology industry and a proven track record in sales and business development, with a particular focus on expanding our presence in the Chinese market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for various technology events, with a specific focus on targeting exhibitors and sponsors from the Chinese market.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, sponsors, and partners, particularly within the Chinese market, to secure long-term business opportunities.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new sales opportunities, trends, and potential clients within the technology sector, with an emphasis on the Chinese market.
- Event Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional strategies for events, ensuring maximum visibility and participation from Chinese exhibitors.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients and sponsors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives, with a focus on Chinese exhibitors.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior management.
- Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings, especially in China and the broader APAC region, to build the company's brand and expand its network.
- Innovation: Identify and suggest innovative ways to enhance the value proposition of the company’s events, tailored to the interests and needs of the Chinese market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the technology or events industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the technology sector and its key players, particularly in China.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in selling sponsorships and exhibition space for technology events.
- Existing network of contacts within the technology industry in China.
- Experience in international sales and business development, particularly in the Chinese market.
