Position: Lifting Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities

Reports to the Construction Manager
-
To ensure that day to day lifting operations are monitored at an appropriate level.

Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities.

Perform routine checks and inspections on site to ensure the compliance with authorities’ requirements.

Address to concerned party regarding the safety of any lifting operations

Provide reports to construction team regularly
-
Liaise closely with HSE team to ensure operations comply with safety standards
Job Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction field; inclusive of 3 years’ experience in construction and supervision for vehicular structures and road projects (LTA Road / MRT / Viaduct)

Technically expert and highly knowledgeable in lifting of heavy structures

Candidates with previous experiences in LTA Projects are preferred

Attained IES/SHETC Appointed Person for Lifting Operation certification is mandatory for this position

This position require to perform night lifting works when necessary. 1 engineer: day shift and 1 engineer: permanent night (hours to be advised)

Must attain Appointed lifting person certificate
Candidate must be based in Singapore.
